The Space
There is a shared outdoor eating area with BBQ, as well as a shared laundry area with soap provided! You have use of two bikes and two shared boats. There is so much to do that you probably won’t spend that much time in the cottage, but there is a full kitchen with just about everything you’d need. TV with premium channels, a DVD player, Hi Speed WiFi, key-less access, free off street parking, etc.

I do not live on property, but I live very close by. There is key-less entry with access codes so it is pretty user-friendly for an easy check in.
The Neighborhood
The Venice Canal neighborhood is among the most unique and beautiful in all of LA. The historic canals were built at the turn of the 20th century and continue to be a secret gem in LA that most LA residents don’t even know about. It’s a very small enclave of nice homes right on the water. This guest house is behind a main house so this guest house is not right on the water but just steps away from the canal and you have access to the boat and a canoe. But this is a quiet, high end part of Venice, not a party place. Please act accordingly.
Getting Around
Yes, there are public buses nearby. And Uber is in LA!! Great way to avoid rental car.
Other Things to Note
There is another rental cottage on the same property. You will be sharing some facilities such as laundry, outdoor table and BBQ, each cottage has their own bikes labeled, more bikes can be rented nearby at 21 W. Washington blvd at “Venice Bike and Skate” (310) 301-4011. This is walking distance from the cottage, just steps from the beach and bike path.
